Enrich is a new Christian ecumenical chaplaincy service for people with intellectual disabilities. We seek to assist in meeting spiritual, emotional, social and religious needs by providing support as needed including:

WEEKLY: SPREYDON - TUESDAY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP (Spreydon Baptist) When: 7:30-9:00pm. No services early Dec through to early Feb. Where: Spreydon Baptist Church. Cnr Lyttelton and Cobham Streets, Chch. Other Stuff: Supper provided. Some transport provided. Contact: Karen Calder 3384163 xtn 254 or 238
RICHMOND - DELTA COMMUNITY CHURCH (North Avon Baptist) A welcoming and relaxed service especially aimed to involve people who face serious difficulties in life. Plus pastoral support and occasional social events. When: Currently, Mondays, drinks from 1:30, service from 2:30-3:30. (At some stage hoping to return to their usual time: Mondays drinks from 6:15, service 7:00-8:15, supper to follow). No service public holidays. Services run from the last Monday of January to the first Monday of December. Where: North Avon Baptist Church Lounge, cnr North Avon Rd and Petrie St, Richmond, Chch. TEMPLETON - HOLY FAMILY CHAPEL SERVICE (Enrich Community Chaplaincy)A friendly and fun service especially involving people with intellectual disabilities. When: Sundays 11am. Where: Holy Family Chapel, Kirk Rd, Templeton (next to the Waitaha learning centre) Other Stuff: Morning tea provided. MONTHLY: PARKLANDS - AROHA SERVICE (Parklands Baptist)Friendly services with music, song, prayer, scripture and socialising, followed by afternoon tea. Where: Parklands Baptist Community Church, 180 Queenspark Drive, Chch. When: 1st Saturday of each month. Gather at 1.15pm. BI-MONTHLY OR LESS: AVONHEAD - SPECIALLY GIFTED FRIENDS SERVICE (Avonhead Baptist) Lunch provided, opportunity to do a small craft beforehand, followed by a short service. BRYNDWR - ALPHA CLUB An interactive, visual and fun programme centred around Christian faith – singing and prayer, puppets, Bible DVD clips, topic discussion using visuals, skits and craft activities. Where: Bryndwr Baptist Church, cnr Clyde and Aorangi Rd, Chch. When Thursdays 7.30pm – 9pm. Two Semesters: End of February – Early July. End of August – Early December.
