Christmas Balls 2010

The two Christmas balls proved to be extremely popular again this year with tickets running out weeks beforehand.  About 320 people attended each ball plus 60 wonderful volunteers.   The balls were originally organised by the Community Liaison Chaplaincy (essentially the former incarnation of Enrich) and are now primarily organised by The Events Trust Canterbury (a group who aim to lift the spirits of people with intellectual disabilities) and supported by the Enrich chaplains.  The balls were held at the Templeton Community Centre and the Richmond Working Men’s Club.  The Blue Velvet band were fantastic and the food was enjoyed by all.  Thank you to everyone who contributed their time and energy.
